ETMONEY - All You Need To Know, To Start Investing
Because of so many finance management products available in the market, it gets really difficult to end up on one of them. This creates a lot of confusion to choose among them. From my personal experience, I found ETMONEY really easy and insightful to use. ETMONEY charges 0% commission for any purchase or selling of mutual funds, unlike some other apps where you need to have a Demat account that charges 1-2% commission on every purchase of mutual fund, plus, they have a Demat account annual charges as well. ETMONEY is a personal finance app like mTrakr, Wally, MoneyControl.They have their website, and you can also find it in the play store and Apple store.
Mutual Funds Investment
1) Once you log in, on the home page you can see an Investments menu at the top left corner of the page.
Navigate to Explore Top Mutual Funds Option under that.
- In the below section, the funds are categorized according to their past performances - the returns, the consistency, the highs' and the lows'. If you are new to investment, start by selecting funds based on the provided categories that match your goal the most.
- If you have little more knowledge about mutual funds and how they are divided, you can choose the funds from the below section. Even here, you would find ample sub-categories that would help you shortlist the funds better.
- Furthermore, if we scroll down we can see an entire section dedicated to top-performing funds from each category of funds.
3) You can see the insights of that fund on the funds home page- its returns, consistency, age-old, type of fund, exit load, etc. You can decide to select funds by looking at those insights. Below is the list of insights you get for a fund on their website.
